Must-Have Requirements

- 6+ years of experience developing new applications, enhancing existing applications, and providing production/application support.
- 5+ years of hands-on PowerBuilder development experience.
- 3+ years of experience designing, developing, and analyzing relational databases, including stored procedures.
- 2+ years maintaining and enhancing legacy applications.
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft SQL Server, including database development and administration.
- Experience with version control systems, such as Team Foundation Server (TFS).
- Strong experience with PowerBuilder/MSSQL application enhancements, file transfers, and interfaces with other systems.
- Robust understanding of enterprise application environments, data processing, n-tier technologies, relational databases, networking, information security, and web services.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.

Nice-to-Have Experience
- Experience with .NET development.
- Experience with Power BI or other data visualization tools.
- Experience with Microsoft Azure databases and tools.
- Experience converting Sybase to SQL Server.
- Experience with additional programming languages.
- Knowledge of web development technologies.
- Experience with AWS or Azure cloud services.
- Understanding of SDLC and Agile methodologies.




- 5+ years of client-server business application development.
- 5+ years of object-oriented development/design.
- Experience migrating or modernizing PowerBuilder applications.
- Knowledge of software design patterns and database design.
- Experience working in a large enterprise environment.

What You'll Do
- Develop, enhance, maintain, and support enterprise applications.
- Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Develop application code, architecture, specifications, and technical interfaces.
- Assess service requests and recommend appropriate solutions.
- Work with architects and other technical teams on application solutions.
- Participate in code reviews, design reviews, system/integration testing, and QA activities.
- Troubleshoot application and data integrity issues.
- Support integrations with third-party applications and tools.
- Prepare technical documentation, operational guides, deployment documentation, and change requests.
- Provide ongoing production support and participate in problem resolution.
