Senior QA Automation Tester – Playwright

Location: Toronto, ON, Canada

We are looking for an experienced Senior QA Automation Tester with strong expertise in test automation, Playwright, Azure DevOps, and enterprise application testing. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing robust automated testing solutions while supporting quality assurance across complex web applications and integrations.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and execute comprehensive QA strategies, test plans, test cases, and test scenarios.
- Design, build, and maintain scalable test automation frameworks using Playwright.
- Develop automated UI and end-to-end tests for enterprise web applications.
- Perform automated regression testing and ensure test assets are reliable and maintainable.
- Test APIs, integrations, and complex application workflows.
- Identify, document, track, and manage defects through resolution.
- Use Azure DevOps for test management, defect tracking, CI/CD and release support.
- Collaborate with developers, business stakeholders, product teams, and other QA professionals in an Agile environment.
- Support continuous improvement of QA processes, automation frameworks, and testing practices.
- Communicate testing results, risks, issues,



and recommendations to technical and business stakeholders.

Required Qualifications
- 10+ years of qualified experience in Quality Assurance and software testing.
- 5+ years of experience designing and implementing test automation solutions.
- Strong hands-on experience with Playwright for UI and end-to-end test automation.
- Experience designing and maintaining automated testing frameworks and regression test suites.
- Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps for test management, defect tracking, and release support.
- Strong experience with test planning, test execution, defect management, and Agile methodologies.
- Experience testing enterprise web applications, APIs, and system integrations.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Experience in healthcare and/or public-sector environments is an asset.
- Experience supporting large-scale healthcare initiatives such as CHRIS/HPG is an asset.
