Position Overview
As a Server at Lusi, you will play a key role in creating memorable dining experiences. You’ll deliver attentive, knowledgeable service in a fast-paced environment while maintaining our high standards of hospitality and professionalism.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome guests warmly, providing menus and sharing daily specials
- Take food and beverage orders accurately using the POS system
- Deliver food and drinks efficiently while following proper sanitation and food-handling standards
- Upsell menu items to enhance the guest experience
- Handle cash and card transactions accurately and responsibly
- Maintain cleanliness of tables, service stations, and dining areas
- Address guest questions or concerns promptly and professionally
- Communicate effectively with kitchen and front-of-house team members to ensure smooth service
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of serving experience required
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail
- Experience with POS systems (Square experience is an asset)
- Knowledge of food safety and proper handling procedures
- Energetic, outgoing, and guest-focused attitude
- ProServe certification required
- Knowledge of Italian cuisine is an asset
- Team-oriented with a strong customer service mindset
Hours & Compensation
Hours:
- Part-time positions available
- Day and evening shifts
- Weekend availability required
Compensation:
- $15/hour + competitive gratuities
