Your role

You are responsible for safely transporting what we call “the most precious cargo” to and from school

Ensure students’ safety while boarding and exiting buses.

Be responsible for performing pre/post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure optimal vehicle safety.

Help fuel and maintain the cleanliness of the bus. #OTW #INDSCHOOL

You hold a valid minimum full Ontario G class drivers license, Preference will be given to B class drivers.

You are 21 years of age or over.

You possess clean driving record and criminal record search with vulnerable sector screening

You have a sound knowledge of the Ottawa West region and surrounding areas

You have the ability to work independently

You are available for the required split shifts of 4-5 hours total, that could run: Monday - Friday between 6:30am - 9:30am and 1:30pm - 5pm.

You possess solid communication skills. There will be a pre-hire driving skills and radio communication assessment.

Candidates applying with a current valid work permit and requiring a licence upgrade, must have at least twelve months of remaining validity on the work permit at the time of application.

You will be compensated for a 4 hour minimum daily split if you take the morning and afternoon for a full route.

Opportunities are available with charters for extra hours
