Duties

- Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems including pipes, fixtures, and appliances in commercial and residential buildings
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to accurately execute projects
- Use hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and heavy lifting techniques safely and effectively
- Conduct routine inspections of plumbing systems to identify issues before they escalate
- Collaborate with construction teams to ensure plumbing work aligns with project specifications and safety standards
- Perform basic math calculations for measurements, material estimates, and system layouts
- Maintain detailed records of work performed, parts used,



and inspections completed

Skills

- Strong mechanical knowledge of plumbing systems and related mechanical components
- Proficiency in carpentry skills for framing or supporting plumbing installations when needed
- Knowledge of HVAC systems as they relate to plumbing integration in building environments
- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) or experience with commercial driving preferred for transportation between sites
- Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and schematics reading
- Construction experience with an understanding of building codes and safety regulations
- Ability to lift heavy objects safely and perform physically demanding tasks regularly
- Familiarity with blueprint reading and schematic interpretation for precise installations
- Basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and troubleshooting issues
