Eco Choice Windows & Doors is an established and growing window and door company serving homeowners throughout the GTA and Southern Ontario. We are looking for an experienced Window and Door Service Technician to inspect, diagnose, and complete service and repair work at customer homes.

This position is ideal for someone with hands-on window and door experience who takes pride in quality workmanship, problem-solving, and professional customer service.

Position Overview The Service Technician will respond to customer service appointments, identify the cause of window and door issues, complete repairs and adjustments, and document any additional parts or work required.

The successful candidate must be able to work independently, communicate professionally with customers, and ensure every service call is completed properly and efficiently.

Responsibilities

- Visit customer homes to inspect and diagnose window and door issues
- Adjust, repair, and service windows, entry doors, and sliding patio doors
- Repair or replace window and door hardware, including locks, handles, hinges, rollers, balances, cranks, and weatherstripping
- Adjust windows and doors for proper operation, alignment, sealing, and locking
- Replace sealed glass units, glazing beads, screens, and other components when required
- Complete caulking, weatherproofing, and minor installation repairs
- Diagnose drafts, water infiltration, condensation concerns, and operational problems
- Identify the materials and replacement parts required for each service
- Take accurate measurements and photographs
- Complete service reports and update job information after every appointment
- Communicate clearly with customers about the work completed
- Report installation deficiencies or additional work requirements to the office
- Keep tools, materials, and the work area clean and organized




- Follow company procedures and all applicable safety requirements
- Provide a professional customer experience at every appointment

Qualifications

- Previous window and door installation or service experience is required
- Strong knowledge of residential windows, entry doors, and sliding patio doors
- Experience diagnosing and repairing window and door hardware
- Ability to replace sealed glass units and complete minor glazing work
- Experience with caulking, weatherproofing, adjustments, and installation repairs
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Excellent attention to detail and quality workmanship
- Professional and respectful when working inside customer homes
- Ability to work independently and manage a daily service schedule
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Comfortable using a mobile phone or tablet to access job details, take photos, and complete service reports
- Valid Ontario G driver’s licence and a clean driving record
- Ability to lift and handle window, door, and glass components safely
- Own basic hand tools is an asset

Occasional schedule flexibility may be required based on customer appointments and service needs.
