BMW Grand River is a proud member of The Quinn Group of fine motor vehicle dealerships and follows the philosophy of " Service Beyond Your Expectations" on every account. We are currently looking for a Service Tower Operator to join our service team at our BMW Grand River location.

The position is responsible for coordinating workflow including assigning work to Technicians and monitoring time spent on their projects.

· Experience as a Service advisor or Technician would be preferred

Duties and Responsibilities

- Organizes the shop work schedule in such a way as to maximize productivity, in accordance with dealership policy.
- Coordinates workflow by assigning work to Technicians in a fair and equitable manner.
- Monitors the work of Technicians including quality of work and time spent on projects.
- Maintains complete knowledge of and complies with company and departmental policies, procedure and standards.
- Maintains customer and company confidence by keeping information confidential and secure.
- Maintains a positive working relationship with team members and management in a team environment.
- Reviews the paper copies of the work orders handed in by the technicians,



to ensure that the work described has been performed and that the work orders have been correctly completed.
- Sees to the cleanliness of the work area.
- Maintains a professional appearance.

Skills and Qualifications

- Minimum 1-3 years of Service Department experience
- Mechanical aptitude and quality orientated.
- Basic knowledge of technical repairs and procedures.
- Willingness to accept and adapt to change.
- Ability to work cohesively with employees and managers as part of a team.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Must be able to communicate (verbal and written) in English fluently.
- Ability to work efficiently and effectively under pressure with simultaneous deadlines.
- Detail oriented and excellent organizational and multi-tasking skills.
- Valid Ontario driver’s license.

Job Type: Full time

Pay: $50,000.00-$60,000.00 per year
