Duties

- Greet customers warmly and listen attentively to understand their vehicle concerns and service needs
- Clearly explain repair recommendations, service options, and costs to customers in an engaging manner
- Write detailed service orders, accurately documenting vehicle issues, requested services, and customer instructions
- Coordinate with mechanics to prioritize repairs and ensure timely completion of work
- Upsell additional services or maintenance based on mechanical knowledge and customer needs to enhance vehicle performance and safety
- Handle cash transactions accurately, process payments, and maintain proper cash handling procedures
- Follow up with customers post-service to ensure satisfaction and address any further questions or concerns





Skills

- Proven dealership experience with a strong understanding of automotive repair processes
- Mechanical knowledge gained through mechanic experience or related training to confidently discuss vehicle issues
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly and positively
- Sales aptitude with a focus on upselling services that benefit the customer’s vehicle longevity and safety
- Familiarity with automotive parts, repairs, and maintenance procedures
- Strong organizational skills for managing multiple service orders efficiently
- Ability to handle cash transactions accurately while maintaining professionalism under pressure
