We are contemporary food producer with high speed process and packaging lines situated in the lower mainland. We are looking for a dependable, hands-on Warehouse/Shipper/Receiver to join our Surrey plant

This is an active role in a busy food manufacturing environment. You will be on your feet throughout the day, working both indoors and in cooler and freezer (-25 Deg C) environments. You will be supporting warehouse, production, QA and Inventory Control departments. You will be picking and preparing orders, receiving product, operating equipment, and keeping the warehouse and yard organized and safe.

This role is a great fit for someone who enjoys physical, practical work, takes pride in doing things properly, and brings a positive attitude to a fast-paced team environment.

This role is not limited to traditional shipping and receiving. On a typical day, your work may include:

- Picking, pulling, and preparing work orders from inventory
- Loading and unloading truck and trailers
- Receiving product and putting inventory away accurately
- Handling ambient, cooler and freezer loads
- Operating a forklift or other equipment safely
- Drive a 3 to 5 ton reefer truck (no air brake license needed)
- Keeping the warehouses and product areas clean, organized, and safe
- Completing required paperwork and system transactions accurately
- Working in different temperature conditions, including cooler and freezer





This is a busy plant environment where priorities can shift throughout the day and weekly as we run a potential five, six or seven day a week schedule

The ideal candidate has:
- Valid BC Drivers Licence
- Minimum 2+ year of related experience in warehouse, yard, shipping/receiving, construction, industrial, distribution, logistics, or a similar hands-on environment
- Forklift experience; certification is an asset
- Basic computer skills and willingness to learn new systems
- Ability to frequently lift and carry up to 55 pounds
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, pull, and move throughout the day
