Shop Foreman | Day Shift

Salary: Starting at $80,000/year

Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 6:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

What you’ll be doing:

- Supervise shop operations, assign tasks according to technicians’ skills, and provide support with technical decision-making
- Ensure the smooth day-to-day operation and workflow of the shop
- Work closely with Service Advisors to optimize operations and ensure proper coordination of repairs




- Ensure customer satisfaction by overseeing and confirming the quality of completed repairs
- Maintain a healthy, positive and team-oriented work environment
- Ensure compliance with manufacturer procedures and quality standards
- Review and follow up on repair orders, diagnostics and technicians’ reports
- Follow up on complex repairs, warranty claims and manufacturer approvals
- Monitor ongoing repairs and contribute to achieving team objectives
- Manage shop equipment and ensure it is properly maintained and functioning
- Keep the Office Tracker schedule and shop documentation up to date

Experience, education and skills that would be an asset:

- Vocational diploma (DEP) in Heavy Vehicle Mechanics or relevant experience
- 3 to 5 years of experience in a similar position (asset)
- Experience in personnel management (asset)
- Valuable knowledge of computer software (Microsoft Office Suite, Outlook)
- Strong leadership skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Bilingual in French and English, spoken and written (asset)
