TFS Manufacturing is a manufacturer of sheet metal components and assemblies serving a wide range of industrial customers.

We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Shop Helper to join our team. This is a hands-on position for someone who enjoys staying busy, working as part of a team, and helping keep production and shipping moving efficiently.

This is a great chance for someone who wants to learn more about metal fabrication and grow their skills in a manufacturing environment. The right person will have opportunities to gain exposure to press brake operation, laser cutting, material handling, and other shop processes.

Responsibilities

- Assist with packaging finished products for shipment
- Strap and secure pallets and shipments
- Shrink-wrap completed shipments
- Assist with picking and sorting laser-cut parts
- Assist with spot welding and other light fabrication tasks
- Move materials and finished products throughout the shop
- Operate a forklift as required
- Must be confident loading and unloading trucks with a forklift
- Use angle grinders, drills, hand tools, clamps,



and other basic shop equipment
- Assist production staff with various shop tasks
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Work safely and help the team meet daily production targets

Requirements
- Forklift experience is required
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Reliable and punctual
- Able to work well with others in a team environment
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Able to follow instructions and work safely
- Willing to learn and take on different tasks throughout the shop

Assets
- Welding experience is an asset
- Press brake operating experience is an asset
- Previous experience in a sheet metal or manufacturing environment is an asset
