Responsabilities:

· Assist shop personnel with the preparation, handling, cutting, measuring, and processing of conveyor belts and rubber products

· Load, unload, move, and properly store conveyor belts, components, materials, tools, and equipment

· Assist with conveyor belt fabrication, splicing, mechanical fastening, and related shop activities as trained

· Operate basic hand tools, power tools, and shop equipment safely and correctly after receiving appropriate training

· Measure and mark materials accurately according to work instructions and specifications

· Package, label, and prepare products and materials for shipment or delivery

· Assist with inventory organization and material handling

· Contribute to the continuous improvement of the company’s productivity, quality, and preventive maintenance

· Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment

Education and experience:

· High School diploma

· 2 years of manual work experience





Competencies:

· Good physical condition and ability to perform manual labour

· Previous experience in a manufacturing, industrial, warehouse, or shop environment is an asset

· Previous experience working with conveyor belts, rubber products, mechanical fasteners, or industrial equipment is an asset

· Ability to read and follow basic work instructions, measurements, and specifications

· Ability to work safely around industrial equipment and materials

· Solid attention to detail and commitment to quality

· Dependable, punctual, and willing to take initiative

Pay: From $22.00 per hour
