We are hiring for a company in the transportation industry with an immediate opening for a Shunt and Dock Worker in Mississauga, ON.
Start Date: Immediately
Shift: Versatile start between 8PM - 4AM (start times change weekly)
Location: Mississauga, ON
Rate: $28/hour
Responsibilities
- Safely shunting trailers in the yard
- Assisting dock with loading and unload trailers with forklift
- Properly staging, stacking, and verifying shipments
- Effectively communicating with team to ensure transport operations continues smoothly
Requirements
- AZ License preferred with previous shunting experience in a shunt truck
- Previous forklift experience loading and loading trailers
- Ability to efficiently secure trailer loads maximizing space
- Dependable to work independently with no supervision
- Clean criminal background required
