As a Kimberley Alpine ResortPatroller, you will play an key role in maintaining the safety and well-being of guests and employees throughout the mountain. You will respond to incidents, provide emergency care, support mountain safety operations, and help ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all guests.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

- Conducting regular safety inspections of the mountain, trails, and related equipment
- Providing first aid and emergency medical care to injured or ill guests and employees
- Safely transporting injured guests from the mountain using toboggans and other appropriate equipment
- Promoting and enforcing mountain safety rules, procedures, and guidelines
- Assisting with avalanche control operations before, during, and after storms, as required
- Maintaining and managing patrol equipment, medical supplies, and inventory
- Assisting with lift evacuations and other emergency response procedures when required
- Responding to incidents and emergencies across the mountain and working collaboratively with other resort departments and emergency services as needed
- Communicating effectively with guests, employees, and other members of the Patrol team in a professional and helpful manner

Qualifications:





- Must possess current WorkSafe recognized Advanced First Aid or Peak NUEC-A certification
- Must be a strong skier or snowboarder, capable of comfortably navigating all terrain and snow conditions; must successfully pass a ski or snowboard skills test to demonstrate ability
- Physically capable of handling both empty and loaded toboggans on all terrain and in all snow conditions; must successfully pass a toboggan skills test to demonstrate ability
- AST1, AVSAR1 or AvOps1 an asset (not required)
- Previous Patrol experience an asset
- Must be able to work independently and as part of a team
- Minimum age of pro patrol is 19 years
