What can you expect?

The SnowHost Supervisor is an important, visible role committed to providing the best experience for our guests, overseeing the team of our dedicated SnowHost volunteers. The SnowHost Supervisor reports to the Director of Snow Sports, liaising frequently with customers, the Ski School team, and many of our outdoor and indoor departments.

This job might be right for you if you think you would really enjoy:

- The primary function of this role is to oversee the selection, training, coordination, and daily duties of SnowHosts for our core Resort volunteer program, carried out at both the Bourgeau Base, and throughout the Resort. SnowHosts provide quality services including meet and greet for guests, trail map and information distribution, mountain tours, courtesy patrol, and surveys.

- Ensuring SnowHosts are operating safely, particularly when carrying out assigned duties on skis. Collaborating with the Director of Snow Sports to maintain consistent, high-quality performance.

- Critical to this role is providing a high level of customer service, setting a good example for the team, having a comprehensive knowledge of the Resort and available services. Being able to step in and provide assistance, when required.

Administrative Responsibilities
- Scheduling volunteers, managing hours and locations in accordance with business levels.

- Administering corrective action, performance management, coaching to team.

- Responding promptly and professionally to general, in person inquiries.

- Maintain a safe, clean, and professional environment, inclusive of all relevant Sunshine policies.





- Timely and accurate incident reporting to appropriate departments and personnel.

Other duties may be requested and assigned from time to time.

And you have

- Previous supervisory and sales experience or a background in hospitality would be an asset.

- Strong computer skills (e.g., Microsoft Office suite of products).

- Must be positive, mature, professional, and responsible, an excellent role model to all staff.

- Willing and able to perform all department duties and tasks.

- Effectively communicate in English both written and verbally, with confidence.

- Advanced skier or snowboarder an asset.

- Ability to take initiative and make decisions independently, within program parameters.

- Proven administrative skills, including record-keeping.

- Prepared to work flexible schedules (e.g., weekends, holidays, extended hours).

- Must maintain professional conduct when in uniform and when acting as a company representative, in person, and online.

Additional Considerations
- Employees must always be of sound mind, exhibit good judgment, and report to work fit for duty.

- Some uniform pieces are provided. Candidates must provide suitable footwear for working in a remote, alpine environment.
