Job Summary

Join our dynamic maintenance team as a Snow Plowing Operator, where you will be the frontline hero in ensuring safe and accessible pathways during winter storms. You will help keep driveways, and parking lots clear of snow and ice, enabling smooth operations and protected environments for all. This role offers an energetic atmosphere where proactive efforts and mechanical skills come together to make a tangible difference in community safety and property maintenance.

Responsibilities

- Operate snow plowing equipment such as front-end loaders, snow blowers, and plow trucks to efficiently clear snow from designated areas.
- Perform routine inspections and maintenance on machinery to ensure optimal performance during snow removal tasks.
- Use hand tools and power tools for minor repairs or adjustments to equipment and infrastructure affected by winter weather.
- Apply salt or de-icing materials to prevent ice formation on walkways, driveways, and parking areas.
- Collaborate with landscape maintenance teams to coordinate snow removal with ongoing gardening or horticulture activities when needed.
- Monitor weather conditions continuously to plan effective snow removal schedules and respond promptly to changing circumstances.




- Maintain detailed logs of work performed, equipment used, and safety checks completed throughout each shift.

Experience

- Prior experience operating heavy machinery such as excavators or construction equipment is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of landscape maintenance, gardening, horticulture, or irrigation systems is a plus for integrated property care.
- Mechanical knowledge related to machinery repair and routine maintenance enhances efficiency on the job.
- Experience with hand tools and power tools used in construction or maintenance work is beneficial.
- Construction experience or background in outdoor maintenance projects will support your success in this role.
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions with physical stamina and attention to safety protocols.
