Pay: CA$25.00–CA$28.00 per hour (Base hourly pay with weather-dependent hours; full-time employees receive a guaranteed minimum of 80 hours per month regardless of snowfall)

Our team is passionate about keeping our community safe and accessible during the winter season. We're looking for a dedicated Snow Removal Laborer to join our team!

Job Responsibilities

- Operate small engine machines including but not limited to snow blowers, backpack blowers, and related equipment to clear snow and ice from driveways, walkways, and sidewalks
- Perform complete removal of packed snow and ice within permitted residential hours (5:00 am to 9:00 pm)
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on snow removal equipment to ensure optimal performance
- Monitor weather conditions and respond promptly to changing conditions (on-call requirements apply)
- Utilize hand tools and power tools for additional snow removal tasks as needed
- Maintain a clean work area and adhere to safety protocols at all times
- Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate snow removal efforts
- Drive a motor vehicle with an attached trailer when required
- Track and report personal hours worked to management

Qualifications




- Previous experience operating snow blowers or similar small engine machinery is a plus but not required
- Strong knowledge and ability to troubleshoot equipment issues
- Familiarity with snow removal maintenance practices
- Proficient in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively
- Strong physical stamina and the ability to work long hours in adverse winter weather conditions
- Ability to lift up to 90 lbs.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to job sites
- Flexibility for on-call shifts between 5:00 am and 9:00 pm (ideal for university students in casual/part time roles)
