Job Summary

Join our dynamic team as a Snow Removal Specialist and help keep our outdoor spaces safe, accessible, and well-maintained during the winter months. In this vital role, you will be responsible for clearing snow and ice from pathways, driveways, parking lots, and other designated areas to ensure safety for employees, visitors, and clients. Your proactive approach and mechanical expertise will contribute to a smooth and secure environment despite challenging weather conditions.

Duties

- Operate snow removal equipment such as plows, heavy machinery, snow blowers, and salt spreaders efficiently across various outdoor surfaces
- Explicit snow and ice from walkways, driveways, parking lots, steps, and entrances to prevent slips and falls
- Apply salt or other de-icing materials to surfaces to enhance safety during winter weather
- Conduct routine inspections of outdoor areas to identify hazards or areas needing attention during snow events
- Maintain and troubleshoot mechanical tools and power equipment used for snow removal
- Collaborate with team members for efficient workflow




- Keep detailed logs of completed work, equipment usage, and safety checks

Qualifications

- Prior experience with landscape maintenance or construction activities is highly desirable
- Mechanical knowledge related to operating and maintaining snow removal machinery and hand tools
- Experience with physical labour
- Ability to work outdoors in cold weather conditions for extended periods of time
- Strong attention to safety protocols and environmental considerations when applying de-icing materials
- Valid driver’s license with clean driving record preferred for operating larger machinery or vehicles
