The client is seeking a Senior Software Developer with extensive experience in Java, Oracle databases, RESTful web services, and enterprise application development. The ideal candidate will have robust backend development experience together with Oracle E-Business, PL/SQL, data conversion, integration, and enterprise application support.

Responsibilities

- Translate technical system specifications into working and tested applications.
- Develop detailed programming specifications and application code.
- Perform unit testing, debugging, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
- Support implementation, conversion, and migration activities.
- Design, develop, and maintain enterprise applications.
- Work with relational and hierarchical database technologies.
- Develop and maintain RESTful web services.
- Conduct technical impact assessments for Oracle E-Business customizations and extensions.
- Support Oracle E-Business conversion and integration activities.
- Review, analyze, and modify product installation scripts.
- Conduct application design walkthroughs with project teams.
- Provide post-implementation support and resolve technical issues.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, SMEs, and technical teams throughout the SDLC.
- Support application documentation and technical knowledge transfer.

Mandatory Skills and Experience

- 10+ years of experience designing and developing large-scale, multi-client web applications.
- 10+ years of hands-on Java development experience with Oracle or SQL databases.
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with REST APIs and RESTful Web Services.
- Strong understanding of Agile methodologies.




- Strong Object-Oriented programming experience, including design patterns, refactoring, and clean code.
- Experience using Azure DevOps.
- Experience with relational and hierarchical database technologies.
- Experience with query languages and information retrieval packages.
- Experience with application integration and communications protocols.

- Oracle E-Business customizations and extensions.
- Strong conversion experience in Accounts Receivable and Collections modules.
