Project Overview

Ontario’s 19 regulatory ministries, supported by 3,500+ frontline staff, deliver compliance services such as licensing, inspections, investigations, and enforcement. Current fragmented legacy systems limit data sharing, risk assessment, and consistent service delivery.

To modernize this landscape, Regulatory Compliance Ontario (RCO) , OMAFA , and the Land and Resources I+IT Cluster (LRC) are building the Common Compliance Management Platform (CCMP) — a standardized, modular, and scalable enterprise platform aligned with OPS Target State Architecture.

Role Overview The Senior Solution Architect – CRM will lead the end-to-end architecture design of the CCMP platform, ensuring alignment with enterprise standards, business requirements, and cloud best practices.

This role combines solution architecture, data architecture, integration design, and cloud engineering leadership , with a strong focus on Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Azure ecosystems .

You will act as a technical authority , driving modernization, defining architecture strategy, and delivering scalable, secure, and high-performing enterprise solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Solution Architecture & Design

- Lead the design of the CCMP solution ecosystem and data model
- Develop scalable, modular, and reusable architecture aligned with enterprise standards
- Define end-to-end Dynamics 365 CRM solutions within a cloud environment
- Design multi-tenant enterprise platforms supporting multiple business lines

Integration & Data Architecture

- Design and implement enterprise integration architectures across systems
- Define API strategies (REST-based) and integration patterns
- Lead data architecture design , including data models, migration, and governance
- Ensure seamless integration with enterprise data platforms and services





Cloud & Platform Engineering

- Architect and implement Azure-based solutions (Integration Services, Functions, API Management, App Services)
- Design Power Platform solutions (Model-Driven Apps, Power Automate, Power Pages)
- Oversee development of custom extensions (Plugins, PCF Controls, Custom APIs)

Security & Governance

- Define Dynamics 365 security models (roles, business units, access controls)
- Ensure compliance with cloud security architecture and IAM (Entra ID)
- Establish architecture standards, policies, and governance frameworks

Stakeholder Engagement & Advisory

- Collaborate with business, technical, and executive stakeholders
- Lead architecture workshops and design sessions
- Provide solution recommendations, cost estimates, and TCO analysis
- Present architecture decisions to governance and executive committees

Leadership & Delivery Support

- Lead architecture reviews and provide technical direction to delivery teams
- Mentor teams on best practices, standards, and solution design
- Support implementation and ensure alignment with target architecture

Requirements Required Skills & Experience

Technical Expertise

- Strong experience in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Solution Architecture
- Expertise in Microsoft Dataverse (data modeling, security, governance)
- Hands-on experience with Power Platform :
