We are a small local pharmacy whose mission is to provide the upmost care to patients and, in doing so, contribute to the community.

We are looking for a FT Staff Pharmacist to join our team! You will be responsible for dispensing drugs prescribed by physicians and other health practitioners to patients. Hours are 10:00AM to 5:00PM on Mondays to Fridays and 10:00AM to 2:00PM on Saturdays.

Responsibilities

- Dispense prescribed pharmaceuticals to customers or to other health care professionals and advise them on indications, contra-indications, adverse effects, drug interactions and dosage
- Order and maintain stock of pharmaceutical supplies
- Advise customers on selection and use of non-prescription medication
- Compound and dispense prescribed medications
- Advise physicians and health practitioners on the interactions and side effects of medications
- Provide patients with pertinent drug information
- Proactively review prescriptions for proper dosage
- Supervise and maintain records of all medications




- Other duties as per pharmacy owner

Qualifications:
- Registered with the BC College of Pharmacists and in Good Standing
- Minimum 5 years of previous experience working in a retail pharmacy
- Proficient in WinRX
- Injection Certified
- Teamwork-oriented
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize
- Is willing to do what it takes to care for patients and grow the pharmacy
- Solid analytical and critical thinking skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Strong organizational skills
- Preferred: Certification in Opioid Use Disorder Maintenance

Pay: $48.00-$55.00 per hour

Experience

- Pharmacist: 5 years (preferred)

Licence/Certification:
- BC Pharmacist License (required)
- Injection Certification (preferred)
- OAT Certification (preferred)
