Stock Associate

Responsibilities

- Work with Department Manager and Assistant Department Manager to improve store sales
- Review merchandising by sales of products and advertising
- Answer customers’ questions about products
- Support customers in any situation of emergency and accident and inform manager/supervisor immediately
- Ensure and maintain safe working conditions that meet health department standards
- Ensure grocery shelves are maintained clean, full, organized and appealing
- Setup store displays throughout the store to increase sales

Conduct periodic thorough cleaning of displays, equipment and floor

- Check inventory and rotation activities to reduce damages and expired products
- Receive grocery items delivery and confirm the accuracy of both order and invoice, then send products to store or warehouse at the right place




- Other duties as required.

Qualifications

- Ability to multi-task, work independently and as part of a team
- Strong sense of hygiene and cleanliness
- Able to move, lift and carry a minimum of 20-50lbs
- Adaptable to work day, evening, overnight and weekend shifts as required
- Able to stand and walk around for long periods at a time

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Pay: From $18.25 per hour
