Overview

We are seeking a skilled Mason to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in masonry work, including the ability to build and restore structures using various materials. This role requires proficiency in reading blueprints and schematics, as well as experience with both hand and power tools. The Mason will be responsible for executing projects with precision and attention to detail while ensuring safety standards are met.

Duties

- Construct, repair, and restore walls, floors, and other structures using bricks, concrete blocks, and stone.
- Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to determine project specifications.
- Operate heavy equipment as needed for various masonry tasks.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively to complete masonry work.
- Perform caulking duties to ensure proper sealing of joints and openings.
- Collaborate with other construction professionals to ensure project timelines are met.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols at all times.

Qualifications

- Proven experience in masonry work
- Proficiency in reading blueprints and schematics.
- Familiarity with heavy equipment operation is preferred.
- Skilled in the use of hand tools and power tools relevant to masonry tasks.
- Ability to perform restoration and renovation work on existing structures.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality craftsmanship.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Effective interpersonal skills
