We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Store Manager to lead our team at our CF Sherway Gardens location. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, delivering excellent customer experiences, and developing a strong and engaged team.

Key Responsibilities

As Store Manager, you will be responsible for the overall day-to-day operation and performance of the store, including:

- Lead, coach, motivate, and support store employees to provide an exceptional customer experience
- Oversee daily store operations and ensure the location operates efficiently and according to company standards
- Recruit, onboard, train, schedule, and develop team members
- Create employee schedules based on business and operational needs
- Monitor employee performance and provide ongoing coaching and feedback
- Maintain high standards for customer service, product presentation, cleanliness, food quality, and store appearance
- Ensure proper opening and closing procedures are followed
- Monitor inventory levels, product availability, ordering, receiving, and waste
- Support sales growth and identify opportunities to improve store performance
- Manage cash-handling procedures and ensure accuracy of daily transactions
- Respond professionally to customer questions, concerns, and feedback
- Ensure compliance with food safety, health and safety, and company policies and procedures
- Maintain appropriate staffing levels during peak business periods




- Communicate effectively with senior management regarding store operations, staffing, sales, and other business needs
- Foster a positive, respectful, and collaborative workplace culture
- Perform additional duties as business needs require

Qualifications

- Previous retail, café, restaurant, bakery, or food-service management experience is strongly preferred
- Previous experience supervising and developing employees
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, customer-facing workplace
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and solve problems effectively
- Experience with scheduling, inventory management, cash handling, and daily store operations is an asset
- Knowledge of food safety and workplace health and safety practices
- Reliable, professional, and able to lead by example

Availability Requirements The Store Manager must have flexible availability based on the needs of the business, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays. As a Store Manager, you may also be required to provide additional coverage or support during busy periods, employee absences, seasonal peaks, and other operational needs.
