We are seeking an experienced and driven Super Luxury Parts Manager to lead our Parts Department and play a key role in delivering the exceptional standards of service our clients expect.
This is an exciting opportunity for a proven Parts professional who understands the demands of a luxury automotive environment, has strong operational and leadership skills, and is passionate about building high-performing teams.
THE PROSPECT
As Super Luxury Parts Manager, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of the Parts Department, with a focus on maximizing profitability, optimizing inventory, supporting Fixed Operations, and delivering an exceptional experience to both internal and external customers.
You will lead, develop, and motivate the Parts team while working closely with Service, Sales, and other dealership departments to ensure an efficient and seamless operation.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIESCustomer Experience
- Establish and manage sales processes that promote customer satisfaction, loyalty, and referrals.
- Ensure a consistently high level of service for both retail and internal customers.
- Follow up on and resolve customer requests, concerns, and complaints promptly and professionally.
- Build strong relationships with customers, suppliers, and internal dealership teams.
Sales & Profitability
- Maintain and grow Parts Department sales while maximizing profitability.
- Establish sales standards and performance expectations for Parts Department personnel.
- Develop merchandising and sales promotion initiatives that support department growth.
- Identify opportunities to increase Parts sales and improve overall department performance.
Financial & Expense Management
- Manage departmental expenses to maximize profitability and ensure resources are utilized effectively.
- Develop, manage, and maintain department budgets.
- Review departmental expenses regularly and identify opportunities for greater efficiency.
- Review and authorize purchase orders, requisitions, packing slips, and other necessary documentation.
- Maintain effective billing, costing, and discount procedures.
Inventory Management
- Establish and maintain an appropriate inventory mix that consistently meets customer and dealership needs.
- Monitor inventory levels, ordering procedures, and purchasing to support profitability.
- Follow up on material returns and credit requests.
- Ensure wholesale compensation and obsolescence criteria are met.
- Inspect incoming parts for conformity, pricing, quality, and damage, ensuring appropriate credits or claims are processed.
- Maintain efficient shipping and receiving schedules.
- Ensure accurate and timely completion of daily Parts Department paperwork.
- Maximize available storage and workspace to improve efficiency and organization.
Leadership & Interdepartmental Relations
- Build and maintain strong working relationships across all dealership departments.
- Work closely with the Fixed Operations Manager to ensure timely availability of Parts for internal repair orders.
- Recruit, train, coach, motivate, and monitor the performance of Parts Department personnel.
- Establish schedules and effectively direct the daily activities of the Parts team.
- Foster a qualified, collaborative, and performance-driven department culture.
Health, Safety & Facility Standards
- Maintain a clean, organized, secure, and safe working environment.
- Establish and enforce appropriate housekeeping, safety,
and security procedures.
- Ensure compliance with workplace health and safety requirements.
- Maintain WHMIS/MSDS documentation for hazardous substances stored within the facility.
- Ensure tools, equipment, and facilities are properly maintained and safe for use.
- Ensure appropriate personal protective equipment is used when required.
WHAT YOU BRING
- Previous Parts Department experience within an automotive dealership is required.
- Previous Parts Manager experience is considered a strong asset.
- Experience working with luxury, premium, or high-performance automotive brands is strongly preferred.
- CDK experience is required.
- Proven leadership and people-management skills.
- Strong understanding of Parts inventory management, purchasing, sales, and profitability.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- A customer-first approach with a commitment to delivering an exceptional luxury experience.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- A professional presence and the ability to work effectively with both clients and internal teams.
