The Chance

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE

- Demonstrates a commitment to customer relations and hospitality by being caring and courteous to residents, families, visitors, and co-workers
- Participates in the selection,



orientation, training, promotion, transferring, supervision, coaching, evaluation, discipline, and termination of Support Services staff in accordance with collective agreements, and CapitalCare's policies and procedures
- Displays effective group facilitation skills in managing people, tasks and resolving conflict
- Possesses excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills
- Demonstrates an understanding of the needs of the long-term care residents
- Implements and monitors good work unit safety and accident prevention measures; promotes early return to work programs; fosters employee wellness and reduced absenteeism

Who You Are

EDUCATION

- A High School diploma is required.
- A Certificate in Food and Nutrition Management or equivalent is required.
- Building Service Worker Certificate is an asset.
- Membership in Alberta Society of Nutrition Management Association or equivalent is preferred.
- A combination of qualifications and experience may be considered.

RELATED KNOWLEDGE/COMPETENCIES

- A minimum of three years of supervisory experience, preferably in a health care setting, is required.
- Intermediate level skill in Microsoft Office applications is required.
