Responsibilities

- Greet guests warmly, present menus, and provide detailed descriptions of our sushi offerings to enhance their dining experience
- Take accurate orders using POS systems such as Micros POS, ensuring timely and efficient service
- Serve food and beverages with enthusiasm, upselling menu items to maximize guest satisfaction and restaurant revenue
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering duties, while maintaining proper sanitation standards
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including food handling and sanitation practices in accordance with food safety regulations
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth food preparation and timely delivery of orders
- Manage guest inquiries professionally,

Qualifications

- Previous food service or restaurant experience preferred; familiarity with the food industry is a plus
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude
- Experience with POS systems such as Micros POS is advantageous
- Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced setting while multitasking efficiently
- Knowledge of food handling, sanitation, and food safety standards required for safe operations
- Basic math skills for cashiering and transaction accuracy
- Experience in hospitality or serving roles is highly valued; kitchen experience is a bonus
- Demonstrated ability to upsell menu items confidently to enhance guest experiences
