We’re looking for an enthusiastic, dependable, and positive Part-Time Swim Instructor to join our team and help swimmers of all ages build confidence, develop their skills, and enjoy the water.

As a Swim Instructor, you’ll have the opportunity to make a real difference in your students’ lives by creating fun, engaging, and safe lessons. Whether you’re helping a beginner overcome their fear of the water or supporting a more advanced swimmer in perfecting their technique, your encouragement and expertise will help every student feel successful.

This is a consistent weekly position with the following required schedule:

- Saturday: 8:30 AM – 12:00 PM

Duties

- Lead fun, engaging, and safe swimming lessons for swimmers of different ages and skill levels
- Demonstrate proper swimming techniques, strokes, and water-safety skills
- Adapt lessons to meet individual students’ abilities, confidence levels, and learning needs
- Monitor and assess student progress and provide positive, constructive feedback
- Build strong relationships with students while creating a welcoming and encouraging environment
- Help students develop water confidence, independence, and essential swimming skills
- Communicate professionally and regularly with parents and guardians regarding progress and safety
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe pool environment
- Assist with pool setup, equipment organization, and general lesson preparation
- Follow all safety procedures and remain attentive to swimmers throughout each lesson
- Bring positive energy, patience,



and enthusiasm to every class

Experience & Qualifications
- Previous experience teaching swimming or working with children is preferred but not required
- Strong swimming ability and confidence demonstrating swimming techniques
- A genuine passion for teaching, coaching, and helping others succeed
- Patient, energetic, friendly, and encouraging personality
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to create a fun environment while maintaining professionalism and safety
- Reliable and punctual with a strong commitment to the required weekly schedule
- Ability to work independently and confidently in a pool environment
- Knowledge of water safety and swim instruction best practices is an asset
- Current CPR/First Aid and/or recognized swim instructor certification is an asset
- Training may be provided to the right candidate

Pay: $19.00-$21.00 per hour
