Job Title: Systems Administrator/Operations Support Specialist - Senior

Must Haves

- Minimum 7+ years of experience supporting, administering, and maintaining Oracle Siebel CRM environments in large enterprise organizations.
- Demonstrated experience with Siebel Server administration, including installation, configuration, patching, upgrades, and setting maintenance.
- Extensive experience managing multi-tier Siebel environments (Development, Test, UAT, Production) and supporting high-availability architectures.
- Experience troubleshooting Siebel performance issues, server bottlenecks, component failures, enterprise synchronization issues, and application outages.
- Proven experience administering Siebel Gateway, Siebel Enterprise Server, Siebel Web Server Extension (SWSE), and related infrastructure components.
- Experience monitoring application health, capacity planning, log analysis, and implementing proactive maintenance procedures.
- Working experience with Oracle databases, including performance monitoring, SQL troubleshooting, and coordination with database administrators.
- Experience supporting integrations between Siebel CRM and external systems using web services, EAI, REST/SOAP services, and middleware platforms.
- Experience with Siebel EAI, Integration Objects, XML, Web Services, and data migration utilities.

Description / Responsibilities / Skills

Responsibilities

- Provides systems administration and systems operations support, including setting up user access, user profiles, backup and recovery, day-to-day computer systems operations.
- Perform software upgrades, apply patches, and provide customer interface to ensure requested changes are implemented, monitor computer workload trends and make adjustments to ensure optimum utilization of computer resources.
- Upkeep, configure, install and support the clients' network and coordinate the various systems.

Skills (40%)

- Experience performing Siebel migrations, deployments, repository management, and release management activities.

Knowledge (25%)

- Knowledge of ITIL-based service management processes, incident management, problem management, change management, and operational support.
- Experience developing and maintaining operational procedures, technical documentation, architecture diagrams, and support runbooks.
- Hands-on experience with Siebel Tools, repository development, and configuration management.
- Experience with Business Components, Business Objects, Applets, Views, Workflows, Assignment Manager, and Runtime Events.
- Experience developing and troubleshooting eScript, Browser Script, Business Services, and Workflow Processes.
- Familiarity with Open UI configuration, customization, and troubleshooting.
- Experience supporting code promotions, repository merges, and deployment activities across environments.

Communication Skills: 25%

- Ability to explain technical terms related to Application Support in non-technical terms.

Public Sector / OPS Experience: 10%

- Prior OPS or Public sector experience.
