Assignment:

- Full-time 1.0 FTE temporary replacement teaching position
- Courseload to include; Social Studies 10-1, 20-1, 30-1, and English 10-1, 20-1, dependent on the successful candidates qualifications and experience
- Duties will commence as soon as possible and will continue until January 29, 2027 with the possibility of extension

Qualifications:

- Experience teaching high school Social Studies and English would be considered an asset
- Ability to manage a multi-course classroom
- Excellent organizational skills
- Willingness to work in a team-oriented learning workplace and be a positive team member
- Ability to utilize varied instructional strategies to meet a wide range of individual needs
- Passion for education and commitment to student success.
- Assessment literate
- Strong classroom management skills
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Commitment to ongoing professional growth
- An understanding of the Collaborative Response Model, and Classroom Profiling would be considered an asset
