JOB TYPE: Temporary part-time

SCHEDULE: Day, 8 and 12-hour shifts. Work schedule may be changed to meet operational needs.

LANGUAGE REQUIREMENTS: Bilingual essential

JOB SUMMARY:

The incumbent participates in the assessment, development, and implementation of patient recovery plans and treatment processes established by the clinic's various professionals. They organize and implement individual and group treatment programs and guide patients in accessing community and government services as needed. They provide crisis intervention and emotional support, transport and accompany patients to various community activities, and run errands for them. They also perform any other related duties as required by the department.

REQUIREMENTS:

- High school diploma plus an additional program or course of over six months and up to one year in community integration or the equivalent;
- Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training (ASIST) or a commitment to take this training within set schedule;

- Advanced non-violent crisis intervention training (CPI) or obtain it according to the established timeline;
- Computer skills;




- Ability to develop effective partnerships with the community-based services;
- Skills in teaching clients and ability to lead groups;
- Good judgment and organizational skills;
- Valid driver's license and have a car with appropriate insurance to transport clients;
- Ability to work independently and as a team member;
- Physical ability to perform assigned duties;
- Good previous work history (performance and attendance);
- Adherence to skilled ethics principles, to the Network management philosophy and organizational values;
- Compliance with the rules of confidentiality established by the Vitalité Health Network.
