About the Role

ING is seeking a Tech Finance Specialist to join the Centre of Excellence for Governance and Operational Excellence, within the Tech Finance team. The team supports governance, effectiveness, consistency, and operational execution across the CIO Domain. This role contributes to the Bank’s technology and finance strategy through accurate financial management, planning, analysis, and process improvement.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform monthly financial closing activities, including cash-flow and expense analysis.
- Ensure the accuracy of financial actuals.
- Support, coordinate, and consolidate budgeting and forecasting processes.
- Monitor costs and identify financial risks and opportunities.
- Recommend appropriate actions based on financial analysis.
- Support the preparation of business cases for new initiatives.
- Simplify processes to improve operational efficiency.
- Manage purchase-order processes to ensure accurate accounting of IT spend.
