iDESIGN 365 has been supporting education and technology for more than 25 years. We help schools, educators, makerspaces, libraries, and organizations implement innovative STEM and technology programs through robotics, engineering, 3D printing, fabrication, and emerging technologies.

We are looking for an energetic, technically skilled individual who enjoys both teaching and consulting. This role combines hands-on technology instruction with customer engagement, helping educators and organizations select the right solutions for their needs.

Position Overview

As a Technology Education Specialist & STEM Solutions Consultant, you will deliver training and workshops on a variety of educational technologies while also working directly with customers to recommend products, solutions, and program implementations.

This is an ideal role for someone who enjoys working with people, teaching technology, solving problems, and staying current with emerging STEM tools.

ResponsibilitiesTechnology Education & Training

- Deliver professional development workshops for teachers and educators.
- Teach and support technologies including:
- VEX Robotics (IQ, EXP, V5, and related systems)
- Drone technology
- 3D Printing and additive manufacturing
- Laser cutting and design workflows
- CAD and design software
- Engineering and STEM curriculum integration
- Create educational resources, lesson plans, and training materials.
- Support schools implementing new STEM programs.

Customer Consulting & Sales Support
- Meet with educators, schools, school boards, and organizations to understand their needs.
- Recommend appropriate products, equipment, and technology solutions.
- Assist customers in planning makerspaces, robotics labs, engineering programs, and STEM initiatives.
- Prepare quotations and solution proposals.
- Conduct product demonstrations and presentations.




- Maintain strong relationships with existing customers and develop new opportunities.

Technical Support
- Assist customers with product setup and implementation.
- Troubleshoot basic hardware and software issues.
- Stay current with industry trends and emerging educational technologies.

QualificationsRequired
- Robust knowledge of at least one of the following:
- Robotics
- 3D Printing
- Laser Cutting
- CAD Design
- STEM Education
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Comfortable speaking with educators, administrators, and students.
- Strong problem-solving abilities.
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel within Ontario.

Preferred
- Experience with VEX Robotics.
- Experience teaching or training adults.
- Experience working in K-12 education.
- Experience with makerspaces or fabrication labs.
- Sales, consulting, or customer-facing experience.
- Background in engineering, technology, education, manufacturing, or related fields.
