Premier Recycling, a fast-growing recycling and demolition company, is looking for an experienced Torch Cutter / Scrap Metal Processor to join our team in Sarnia. About the Role

As a Torch Cutter, you’ll be responsible for using an oxy-fuel cutting torch to safely cut and process ferrous scrap metal into manageable sizes for handling, shipping, and recycling.

You’ll work primarily at our Sarnia facility, with the possibility of assisting on customer or demolition sites when required. You’ll report to the Site Supervisor and work closely with equipment operators and other members of the yard team.

What We’re Looking For

- Experience using an oxy-fuel cutting torch to process heavy steel and scrap metal
- Strong understanding of torch-cutting safety procedures
- Ability to safely identify and prepare material before cutting
- Comfortable working outdoors and in an industrial scrap yard environment
- Physically capable of performing hands-on work throughout the day




- A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and team-first mindset
- Ability to follow instructions and work safely around heavy equipment
- Experience in scrap metal, demolition, construction, fabrication, or industrial work is a strong asset
- Previous experience cutting heavy plate, structural steel, machinery, or oversized scrap is preferred
