Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Truck Driver to join our logistics team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently while adhering to all traffic laws and regulations. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, excellent driving skills, and the ability to handle various types of freight.

Responsibilities

- Operate trucks to transport goods to designated locations in a timely manner.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.
- Load and unload freight, ensuring proper handling of materials.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including mileage, fuel consumption, and delivery receipts.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members regarding delivery schedules and any issues that arise during transport.
- Adhere to all local, state, and federal transportation regulations.




- Assist in the operation of forklifts or heavy equipment as needed for loading and unloading tasks.

Experience

- Proven experience in commercial driving with a valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
- Familiarity with freight handling procedures and safety protocols.
- Experience in automotive repair is a plus, as it can enhance vehicle maintenance capabilities.
- Previous experience operating forklifts or heavy equipment is preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong knowledge of road safety regulations and best practices for transporting goods.
