Job Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Class 1 Truck Driver to join our transportation team. In this role, you will be responsible for safely operating heavy-duty trucks and trailers to haul aggregate material across various routes, ensuring timely deliveries and maintaining the highest safety standards. Your expertise in commercial driving will be essential to keep our operations running smoothly.

Duties

- Safely operate Class 1 trucks to transport aggregate materials over long and short distances, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle, including checking brakes, lights, tires, and load security
- Maintain equipment and ensure safety compliance
- Haul gravel, water/fuel, equipment, materials & more
- Maintain accurate documentation of deliveries and vehicle logs in compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements




- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and clients to coordinate schedules and address any delivery concerns
- Follow safety protocols diligently, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and adherence to load limits

Skills

- Valid Class 1 commercial driver’s license (CDL) with a clean driving record
- Experience hauling with end dump, belly dump and side dump trailers
- Basic repair skills for troubleshooting mechanical issues on the road or at the yard
- Robust communication skills for coordinating with team members and clients
- Ability to perform detailed vehicle inspections and maintain accurate logs

Pay: $28.00-$32.00 per hour Expected hours: 50.0 – 80.0 per week
