- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to confirm it is in optimal condition.
- Load and unload cargo, often requiring heavy lifting, with attention to secure handling and proper documentation.
- Follow all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies during transportation activities.
- Maintain accurate records of delivery logs, mileage, fuel consumption, and delivery confirmations.




- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and warehouse teams to coordinate schedules and resolve any issues promptly.
- Assist with loading or unloading cargo when necessary, demonstrating physical stamina and attention to detail.

Requirements

- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) appropriate for the vehicle operated.
- Proven experience driving heavy trucks in various conditions; a clean driving record is essential.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and handle physically demanding tasks regularly.
- Robust knowledge of traffic laws, safety procedures, and transportation regulations.
- Excellent communication skills for clear coordination with team members and clients.
- Flexibility to work flexible hours or extended shifts as needed for route demands.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications related to transportation are a plus.
