Job Summary

We are seeking dedicated and passionate tutors to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will have a robust desire to help students achieve their academic goals and develop a love for learning. This role involves working closely with students of various ages, providing personalized instruction and support during in-person tutoring sessions.

Responsibilities

- Assess students' academic needs and develop tailored lesson plans to address their specific challenges.
- Provide instruction for English and / or French tutoring (K - 12)
- Communicate effectively with students to encourage participation and build confidence in their abilities.
- Provide in-home tutoring
- Commit to a consistent weekly schedule (weekday evenings)
- Mentor students

Qualifications:

- 1+ Years University/College
- Access to a vehicle and the ability to reliably commute to tutoring sessions
- Knowledge of the Alberta curriculum (preferred)
- Proficient knowledge in one or more subjects: English, French, FSL, French Immersion
- Must live in Calgary, AB Canada at time of applying
- Fluent in English

Requirements:

- Valid Driver's License and vehicle access (required)
- Availability:



weeknights (4:00 - 9:00pm) and some weekends. You choose your own schedule.
- Must be fluent in English and have excellent communication skills.
- Must complete criminal background check/vulnerability screening
- Familiar with the Alberta CBE curriculum
