Job Summary

We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Underground Superintendent to lead and oversee underground construction operations. Responsibilities

- Lead and supervise underground construction teams, ensuring all work aligns with project plans, schematics, and safety protocols
- Oversee daily site operations, including coordinating subcontractors, equipment, materials, and resources effectively
- Monitor project progress through blueprint reading, schematics review, and quality control inspections to uphold high standards
- Manage project budgets by tracking costs, reviewing estimates, and implementing cost-saving measures without compromising quality




- Conduct regular safety meetings and enforce strict adherence to safety regulations to ensure a secure work environment

Skills

- Extensive experience supervising underground construction projects with a proven track record of successful project delivery
- Strong proficiency in construction management software such as ProCore, Bluebeam, and other relevant tools
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction estimates accurately
- Skilled in quality control procedures and ensuring compliance with industry standards
- Excellent budgeting skills with experience managing project costs effectively
- Demonstrated leadership in supervising diverse teams within a dynamic construction workplace
- Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices specific to underground construction sites
