Economy Paving is hiring an experienced Underground Supervisor to lead crews on water, sanitary and storm sewer projects. We’re looking for a dependable, hands-on leader who takes pride in quality work and keeps safety and production a priority.

Responsibilities

- Supervise daily underground construction activities, ensuring all work aligns with project plans, schematics, and safety standards.

- Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to schedule tasks, allocate resources, and monitor progress.

- Oversee quality control measures by inspecting work sites regularly and ensuring compliance with industry standards and client requirements.

- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction estimating documents to guide onsite activities accurately.

- Manage budgeting aspects related to underground operations by tracking costs and optimizing resource utilization.

- Ensure all team members adhere to safety protocols; conduct regular safety meetings and inspections to promote a safe working environment.

- Use tools like ProCore and Bluebeam for documentation, reporting,



and communication across teams to streamline project workflows.

Qualifications

- Proven supervising experience in underground or heavy civil construction projects.

- Solid knowledge of construction management software such as ProCore, or Bluebeam.

- Extensive construction experience with a focus on underground infrastructure projects.

- Skilled in blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and construction estimating processes.

- Demonstrated ability to manage budgets effectively while maintaining high-quality standards.

- Familiarity with quality control procedures and safety regulations specific to underground construction sites.

- Excellent communication skills with the ability to lead teams effectively and coordinate across multiple stakeholders.

Pay: From $45.00 per hour
