LOCATION

Our shop is located at 390 Midwest road, Scarborough, ON.

COMPENSATION

This position will pay an hourly rate of: $25.00 - $30.00.

THE ROLE: Reporting to the Upfitting Leads. We are looking for an experienced Vehicle Upfitting Specialist to join our energetic and safety-oriented team. In this role some of the responsibilities will include but not limited to installing vehicle bin packages, wiring accessories, and seamless integration with existing vehicle systems.

WORKING HOURS

This is a full-time permanent position.

The working hours will be Monday to Friday: 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

- Preparing vehicle for upfitting installation.




- Setup vehicle electrical control boards as required.
- Installation of OEM and aftermarket parts.
- Conduct repairs and replacement of faulty wiring and electrical systems as needed.
- Install upfitting accessories.
- Ensure upfitting products are properly secured in the vehicle.
- Complete required paperwork and work orders.
- Move vehicles in and out of the work bay.
- Proper housekeeping to ensure work bay and shop is kept clean.
- Other tasks as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must have a valid “G” driver’s license/ valid DZ license would be considered an asset
- 310K certification preferred.
- Minimum 2 years experience as automotive electronic technician.
- Ability to work safely and skillfully with hand tools including drills, grinders, impacts, etc.
- Able to work physically for scheduled shift.
- Able to lift heavy products into/onto the vehicle.
- Safety focus in all facets of daily tasks
- Basic proficiency with use of computers
- Ability to stand/lift 40LBS/carry/bending/ twisting for periods at a time repeatedly
- Effective communications skills
- Punctual, Reliable & Team player
