We are seeking a dedicated Veterinary Receptionist to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service and administrative support in a veterinary clinic setting.
Responsibilities :
- Greet clients and their pets with a friendly and welcoming demeanor
- Answer phone calls, schedule appointments, and manage the front desk
- Assist with client inquiries, provide information, and direct clients to the appropriate staff members
- Maintain accurate records of patient information and appointments in the system
- Process payments, invoices, and handle financial transactions
- Coordinate communication between clients, veterinarians, and other team members - Assist with basic administrative tasks as needed
Qualifications:
- Completed Veterinary Office Assistant certification and at least 1 year experience in a veterinary clinic or animal care setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with clients and team members
- Proficiency in basic computer skills and ability to learn veterinary software systems (ezyvet)
- Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks efficiently, and work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of laboratory procedures would be beneficial
