We are seeking a dedicated and caring Veterinary Assistant/Receptionist to join our team.

Position Overview:

We are looking for a highly motivated Veterinary Assistant/Receptionist to support our veterinary team in providing exceptional care to our furry patients. As a Veterinary Assistant/Receptionist, you will play a key role in delivering excellent customer service, assisting with medical procedures, managing patient care, and ensuring a smooth and efficient operation of the animal hospital.

Responsibilities:

- Provide excellent client service both in person and over the phone




- Schedule appointments and manage patient records
- Assist veterinarians and technicians during exams and procedures
- Handle patient intake, restraint, and basic animal care
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the clinic
- Process payments and manage front desk operations

Requirements:

- Minimum 1 year of experience in a veterinary clinic or animal care setting
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Compassionate, team-oriented, and reliable
- Experience with veterinary software (Avimark) is an asset
- The ability to communicate in Spanish is considered an asset.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $18.00-$22.00 per hour

Experience

- Veterinary Assistant: 1 year (preferred)
- Veterinary Receptionist: 1 year (preferred)
- Customer Service: 1 year (preferred)
