Veterinary Receptionist – Strathmore, AB

Animal Care Centre of Strathmore in Strathmore, AB, is currently welcoming a driven, enthusiastic, and friendly Veterinary Receptionist to join our team! Our goal at the Animal Care Centre of Strathmore is to provide quality veterinary care to animals large and small because we care. We work as a team to give our patients and clients the best experience possible – customer service is THE focus. Our team members enjoy coming to work and collaborating in a vibrant, fun environment, all while practicing quality medicine and providing an excellent Client Experience.

Responsibilities

- Create a warm and welcoming environment for our patients and pet parents
- Ability to answer a multiline phone system and track and book appointments effectively
- Placing outbound calls to pet parents for follow-up and future appointment bookings
- Respond to and manage email correspondence; clients, referring veterinarians & internal office messages
- Admitting and discharging pet patients
- Invoicing/billing; creating estimates, obtaining pet owner confirmation and processing payments
- Scheduling appointments
- Excellent customer service skills; a real aptitude for putting people at ease and creating a welcoming environment
- General housekeeping duties; cleanliness of reception area, pet holding areas and common areas
- Availability to work Saturdays
