Duties

- Assist with planting, pruning, tying, and trellising grapevines to promote healthy growth
- Operate farm machinery such as tractors, sprayers, and other heavy equipment safely and efficiently
- Maintain irrigation systems, ensuring proper water distribution and troubleshooting issues as needed
- Use hand tools and power tools for tasks like weed control, soil preparation, and vine support
- Perform regular inspections of vines for pests, diseases, or structural issues and report findings promptly
- Support harvest activities by harvesting grapes carefully to preserve quality and preparing them for processing




- Conduct routine maintenance on equipment and tools to ensure safety and optimal operation

Skills

- Mechanical knowledge to operate and troubleshoot farm machinery and heavy equipment
- Understanding of irrigation systems, horticulture principles, and vineyard maintenance practices
- Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and perform basic repairs or adjustments
- Strong physical stamina for heavy lifting, prolonged outdoor work, and manual labor tasks
- Basic math skills for measuring, estimating quantities, or calculating areas in vineyard management
- Knowledge of farm safety procedures to maintain a safe working setting for all team members
- Willingness to learn new techniques related to vineyard care and maintenance
