The Central Okanagan Food Bank is looking for a hands-on Warehouse Coordinator to coordinate the overall daily flow of our food rescue and warehouse operations. Reporting to the Food Rescue Lead, this role connects food rescue, receiving, inventory and distribution so that food moves safely and efficiently through our facilities and into our programs.

You'll coordinate daily operational priorities across the warehouse and food rescue functions, working closely with the existing Food Rescue Coordinator, warehouse and distribution teams and volunteers.

What You'll Do

- Coordinate the overall daily flow of food rescue, including receiving, storage, inventory movement, staging, and distribution.
- Coordinate daily operational priorities across warehouse and food rescue functions and respond to changing program needs.
- Work with the Food Rescue Coordinator to ensure food rescue activities are appropriately staffed and aligned with warehouse and distribution requirements.
- Coordinate receiving, put-away, picking, staging, loading, internal transfers and product movement between COFB locations and programs.
- Monitor overall inventory levels, storage capacity, shortages and surpluses across dry, refrigerated and frozen storage.




- Ensure program and distribution teams have the food and supplies required for daily operations.
- Maintain safe, organized and efficient warehouse operations and support consistent food safety and material-handling practices.
- Identify workflow improvements and support implementation of operational procedures and special projects.

What We're Looking For

- Experience in warehouse, logistics, distribution, food rescue or a similar operational environment.
- Demonstrated ability to coordinate people, priorities and workflow in a fast-paced setting.
- Strong organizational, communication and practical problem-solving skills.
- A team-oriented, hands-on leadership style and ability to work effectively across teams.
- Knowledge of food safety and safe material handling, or a willingness to learn.
- Ability to regularly lift and move approximately 30-40 lbs.
- Willingness to operate a pallet jack and forklift; certification or willingness to obtain certification.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.

Full-time position - Tuesday to Saturday, 8 am to 4 pm Pay: $26.00-$28.00 per hour
