We are seeking a motivated and dependable Warehouse General Labourer to join our team at Overhead Door Peterborough. Your proactive approach and attention to safety shipping, receiving, and inventory and quality contol, essential functions and responsibilities of the position may vary by Overhead Door to meet special requirements upon our business needs.

Responsibilities

- Load and unload shipments using heavy equipment such as forklifts,ensuring safe handling of goods.
- Pick, pack, and prepare orders accurately using order PO and warehouse management systems.
- Assist with shipping and receiving activities by verifying incoming and outgoing items against documentation.
- Conduct heavy lifting tasks safely while maintaining proper posture and technique to prevent injury.




- Support warehouse distribution operations by organizing inventory, stacking and maintaining a clean work environment
- Valid certification for forklift operation is desirable.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting consistently while adhering to safety standards.
- Knowledge of shipping & receiving procedures and general warehouse distribution processes.
- Solid physical stamina and the ability to work efficiently in a physically demanding setting.

Pay: $19.00-$21.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
