Job Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable warehouse worker to join our team. As a warehouse worker/Forklift Operator, you will be responsible for ensuring the accurate and efficient shipment and receipt of goods in our warehouse. This is a vital role in our organization, as you will play a key part in maintaining smooth operations and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

- Receive incoming shipments, verifying contents against purchase orders or packing lists.
- Inspect received goods for damages, defects, or discrepancies and report any issues to the appropriate personnel.
- Record received items into the inventory management system accurately.
- Generate shipping documentation such as bills of lading, packing slips, and shipping labels.
- Maintain organized and efficient storage of inventory within the warehouse.
- Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to prevent accidents or injuries.
- Communicate effectively with internal teams to coordinate shipping and receiving activities.




- Collaborate with colleagues to resolve any problems or issues that arise during the shipping and receiving process.

Qualifications:

- Previous experience in warehouse distribution or forklift operating, similar role preferred.
- Proficient in order picking techniques and using warehouse management systems.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to perform basic math calculations accurately.
- Ability to lift heavy objects and work in a physically demanding environment.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.

Job Type: Full time Pay: $18.00-$19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30.0 – 40.0 per week

Experience:
- Warehouse: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:
- Forklift Licence (preferred)
