Lead Water Damage Technicians at On Side do the work to evaporate water-related stress, bringing calm, order and dryness to all!

Understanding the urgency of the situation and working with customers in a caring, calm and empathetic manner are paramount to the success of a Lead WDTs day!

Working as a team, WDTs mop up the mess to ensure everything is shipshape and ready to get back to the pre-disaster state. (This posting reflects an existing vacancy) Compensation - Salary Range: $26-$31/hour - Overtime opportunities (where applicable) - On-call premium and overtime paid for rotating coverage - Extended health coverage (medical, dental, vision, etc.) - Employee assistance program (EAP) - Group RRSP, with company matching DPSP - Life and disability insurance - Opportunities for advancement and internal mobility What You’ll Do - Team guidance and mentorship: Leading by example, coaching team members, and ensuring effective workflow - Hands-on proficiency: Working directly on the tools while maintaining high standards of safety and quality - Structural Drying Assessments - Perform demolition of affected structures and materials - Set up and monitor drying equipment - Clean and restore areas impacted by water-related disasters - Complete restoration tasks - Support emergency mitigation efforts as needed What You Bring - Leadership abilities and experience leading a team - 2+ years previous industry experience - IICRC S500-1999 Standard and Reference Guide for Professional Water Damage Restoration certification - Knowledge of structural drying procedures and ability to perform multi-unit assessments in accordance with IICRC guidelinesTechnical expertise:
