TYCROP Manufacturing Ltd. is seeking a dedicated Welder Helper to join our team in the Fraser Valley.

Duties & Responsibilities:

- Assist with Fabricating of weld product, sub-assemblies and components for production.
- Clean Chassis welds, prep weld material, pre heat and assist welders where needed
- Assist with the operation of manual or semi-automatic welding, brake, shear grinding and related equipment
- Operate the horizontal saw, vertical saw, shear, and manual brake press.
- Read, interpret and understand layout and measurements per drawings and revisions as directed.
- Layout patterns according to instruction
- Perform other duties as required

Experience:

- Able to read a tape measure
- Ensures attention to detail
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs
- Demonstrates the ability to problem solve and make decisions
- Able to delegate and manage multiple tasks
- Displays the proven ability to give clear and concise instruction
- Welding Knowledge is a plus
